Thanks for the post. I agree.

I think part of the problem with voting is that a lot of people feel it doesn't matter who they vote for, you can't really believe a word of any of our current politicians. Had Campbell been honest in his campaign, he may have still won, but who can be sure...

Again, the best thing Gordon has going for him is Carole James. Nobody likes her and he knows it.

YUP.

..and they are all F.O.S. no matter the party, out to help their friends whoever they may be, and 'most' of us will see no benefit to either side.

One side will yell and scream about the moves of the other, but when they get into power don't do a damn thing about what they were yelling about before. It wouldn't surprise me to see the NDP get into power then raise the gas and HST tax.

I don't think the provincial government is going to have any control over it once they finish the deal with Ottawa are they?

Well I think they could probably raise or lower it. I haven't seen enough of the documentation to know how that would all work...but nothing would surprise me.

Another BC MLA arrested for DUI, the peoples reaction that they were showing on the news was basically that they will forgive them, just like Campbell. Being in a position of authority, in government, shouldn't these people have some kind of respect for the law? Why do we have so many politicians with legal issues these days. Accountability is probably going to be removed from the dictionary.
