Hello from Florida and a question

My name is Gino (from middle name Eugene, not Italian lol) I live in Davie Florida and Just bought a 2006 zongshen 200 cc dual sport used for $600
it runs but has no luggage rack , speedo cable (in fact the speedo cable end broke off down by the wheel)tail light, or air filter. But it runs and it is MINE

as soon as I can I want to post a pic of it as I have read Spuds posts about painting his Zong, and I chose an apple red and sun yellow for an IRON MAN costume look on my zong (I am a fan of Marvel)

the big question now is what causes the engine to shake like a madman when in gear (not all the time but enough to cause trouble) I already know parts will be fun to find but I first need to know what the hell it is doing and what parts I need hehehe.

engine shaking: inspect and tighten mounting bolts?
no air filter: no good, you should be able to get a piece of foam, oil it and stick it in.

tail light should be easy, when you take the seat off you ll find the connectors under the end of the seat (hopefully).

sounds like you got yourself the most sought after No1 chinese superbike

Welcome, fellow Zongite! We are glad you joined us.

The engine should not be shaking.

This is a dangerous condition, and must be rectified. Inspect, and tighten all the engine mounting bolts. Also, inspect the fork pinch bolts, the swingarm bolt, and the entire rear suspension until you find, and fix the problem.

Zingshoen is correct.

Don't run the bike without an air filter, or you will certainly damage the valves and the piston. You can install any tail light you want; you can find many bargains on eBay. Among the other items listed by Corvairkid, you can also find a luggage rack at Taobao.

Wow thanks for all the welcomes. I have gotten a lot fixed on her so far . I took the carb apart and cleaned it thouroughly (it was actually in fantastic shape just very dirty), the loose shaking turned out to be an engine mount bolt under the gas tank that I did not see before (and did not expect either lol). so now I can start her and she runs and idles but then dies suddenly at random. from what I found in the troubleshooting section of the service manual , I may have a bad cdi or spark plug but I need to do more digging.

and I will check those links out definitely if it gets me closer to some parts. because I love this bike , when she runs she is awesome and when she doesn't run I just want to work on her 24/7 until she does hehehe.

oh yeah I also found a cone air filter and created an adaptot tube out of an old roketa aruba air tube I had.

Translating is easy with Google Chrome, although it's not terribly accurate. I find that I rely 90% on the images and 10% on the text.
