ride to caroline mines
the wife and I decided to head up to Caroline mines yesterday to finally get to the actual mines this time (last couple of times we got skunked)
we just noticed that the time stamps say 2007 ....sorry for that but we forgot to reset the date on the cam after putting new batteries in it . offloaded and getting ready to go  loading up the wifes atv for riding  figured out if we cut this small area out of the body the gas can will fit very nice in here. (a project for down the road)  on our warm up run we came across some things left behind from previous campers from the weekend thanks for the 35 pack of water, the new lawn chair and the $20 worth of cans and bottles.  finally made it up to the mines themselves massive conveyor   nice shot of a creek coming from somewhere in the mountains   huge wash roller drums (I think)  Kelly at one of the old mine entrances  me at the same one  and here are a couple of shots from just outside the entrance   it was pretty hot yesterday but the freezing cold air that was rushing out of the mine was insane. and this is the reason I didn't go into the mine itself main entrance beam was being held in place by one singe smaller broken beam that was on an angle  on our way back down (about 1200 feet) stopped to take a few pics     that small strip of beige is the Coquihalla hwy.    super clear water to wash off in and get a drink     and of course we found mud heh heh http://vid863.photobucket.com/albums...ps8c8b592f.mp4 http://vid863.photobucket.com/albums...ps2aa424a3.mp4 and one of a waterfall but I had the camera sideways (face palm) http://vid863.photobucket.com/albums...psc2a6fc57.mp4

Love that second vid! I didn't think Kelly was going to make it.
 That looks like it was a fantastic day for a ride. Did you see any wildlife? I like your ammo boxes. Nice truck, too.

I'm glad the boxes worked for you. I like the jerry can idea you have, and i hope you post about it.

Coquihalla or Crowsnest?
Did you ever need to lock the hubs when pulling the trailer up the mountain?
