Broken mirror base

Good evening everyone!

I noticed the other day that the base of my right mirror had a large crack running through it and looks to be on the verge of breaking off. I sent an E-mail to Gerry who answered a few questions for me about my warranty and basically forwarded me to Ryan for a warranty replacement. I haven't contacted Ryan just yet because I wanted to ask those of you that have upgraded or replaced your mirrors what brands you recommend. I know I can get an OEM mirror from CSC but I think i'd like to upgrade to something a little more sturdy. So.... I'm all ears. What do you fellow Zong fans think is the best mirror upgrade for the RX3?

Thanks!

The DoubleTake mirrors are very popular with adventure and dual sport riders.

I just put a set of DoubleTake adventure mirrors on my RX-3. They have a similar profile as the stock mirrors, and are very easy to see out of. Using the 6" RAM arm and M10-1.25 ball base puts the mirrors in almost the exact same locations as stock.

So far I like them, and they are super adjustable, I can get the exact angles I want to see out of them. However, they definitely do not reduce any buzz you get through the handle bars. Just like the stock mirrors, they get pretty fuzzy on the freeway at 8K+ RPM.
