Bought a set of lock picks off ebay. Day before yesterday I was just getting out of the shower, and my wife had volunteered me to pick the lock on a neighbor's house. She had fallen and couldn't get up. I got the lock picked with 2 paper clips, but it was slow.

If I had a bench grinder here I'd make my own, but my house here is small with no garage.

Just under a hundred bucks for a doctors' bill about my ankle. That's about $220 out of pocket so far.

So, the other night I bought a photo dated February 8, 2014 from THIS GUY, with a few stipulations -

1. I had to meet him at E. 161st St. & River Ave. at 3;45AM,
2. Bring a lot of unmarked bills in a bag with a long strap,
3. Show up alone
4. All he said to me was " I'm from the Chicago area, don't get cheesy with me..."

Here's the photo -

I wouldn't have broken my ankle landing like that. Ass, maybe, but not my ankle.

I almost bought another China bike today. Instead, I bought an Austrian bike.

The KTM 790 Adventure S is Chinese; the 890 Adventure S is Austrian. I got a hell of a deal on an 890, so... there you have it. If all goes well, in about... six weeks, I load up and leave.

Some steel I ended up not needing for a project that went 180 from the blueprints in my head. A couple of stackable parts bins that will work as planned. And lunch at Booger King because we haven't since September.

Picked up some of these LED units. Going to play around with them and see if they make any sense on my Templar X, thinking of replacing the rear turn signals.
Used to install these on police cars back in my radio/lighting days. The LEDs themselves are aligned axially but the top of the unit reflects so the light comes out radially. This means that they're lower profile when installed and give a full 360 degree output.

I bought a 40 tooth sprocket for the Lycan, Motorcycle jack and a pair of perforated leather riding gloves.

Kinda tempted to look for something like this to use as side markers on my MGB. But at the same time tempted to shave the side markers all together to get the car closer to its UK spec appearance.

Eighty bucks worth of diesel fuel. First diesel since January and, of course, I didn't need it until the price went back up.

Glad to see things are moving out East. Out West here, it's DEAD. The bike markets have tanked. Good time to buy but no one is pulling the trigger. I'll just wait it out on my DRZ. The weather is improving dramatically.

OH! Bought more Corvair stuff. An entire exhaust system setup. Went with the Dynamax 14" mufflers. Supposed to be only slightly louder than stock, no drone.
