Right now I'm running the following adjustments on my carb.

Mikuni vm22-133 genuine
Float height 25mm
Pilot jet 17.5
AF mixture screw dialed in
Main jet 110
Needle clip in position 5 (eliminates the off idle hesitation known in mikuni)
Idle screw set to 1400-1600rpm, there's only 3 bars per 1000 so I'm not exactly sure

Just got a high speed of 64mph, with favorable weather conditions. I'm not worried about the top speed , but it is fun to let it rip here and there.

My only concern at this point is that with a bigger jet, say a 115, i will experience surging at the top end at wide open throttle in 4th and can't get past 9k rpm

The 110 is lean enough that I don't run out of fuel but my rpms are capping at 8500 in 4th at WOT

I have not tried a bigger main jet with a leaner than position 3 setting, my thoughts are that maybe a bigger jet with a leaner clip position 2 or 1 might help me not run out of fuel at the top end.

At wide open throttle I know the main jet is the main player here, but I can't help but wonder if I need to go up on the pilot to accommodate.

My exhaust and air in take are the same as they were on the 125cc. The same amount of air is coming in. Nothing has changed with the air flow.
