Ryan returned my email from yesterday after I emailed them through their "contact" email again on the website, so I have his email now anyway. Spud, can you fix Rob's post? I didn't mean to accidently request a bomb for Ryan. Apologies.

Did a 45 mile ride today and decided that was enuff ... got home and hit the CSC website and sent those fine folks some dollars in exchange for a comfy stylish seat! SC Tall should be headed my way soon. Last year you had some choice in stitching colors. They are all black stitched this year - fine with me. I'm satisfied the seat will be high quality as Steve & Company wouldn't be offering it otherwise.......

I think you'll like the tall seat. It's made a world of difference for me.

UPS Claus delivered my seat yesterday evening. I put it on this morning and went for a spin. WOW ! Completely changed the ride character of the bike. Much more comfortable. No longer am I sliding up onto the tank and the ride really smoothed out. Just a terrific seat if what I've read is true it will improve with time. Seat Concepts get 2 .... Yet another quality product from CSC.

You almost got me sold. Go do 3 hours non-stop and tell me what you think. Then you may have me sold. That said, a small sheet of plywood with nails driven thru it may be more comfortable on long runs than the stock seat. ;-)

2LZ, I have done two 500 mile weekend trips on the 'tall' seat. It really is a big improvement over stock(OK, that's not saying much!). IMHO the replacement is well worth $250 because the alternative was to sell the bike and take a huge loss. Of all the replacement seats I have ever purchased this one was the least expensive...by far.

Now that's what I'm talkin' about! Thanks pyoungbl!
I won't say it's so unbearable I would have sold the bike but I just needed some good justification over a 90.00 Air Hawk....and you're right, for a custom seat, it's quite a bargain, especially since it includes both pieces. Like I said prior, Mustang wanted 800.00 for my Vic seat.

The home brewer in me says that I would have tried something with that original seat first, then purchased. Having said that, I know uph folks get good $ for their craft. I still act like I was in my 20's, broke and pennyless. (Yall Remember those days of carrying the calculator to the grocery store )

I relived those romantic days twice....after both divorces. It loses its romance, trust me.....and my second X took my calculator.
