Oil level check Help. bashan 250

Just got 1 of my 2 new bashan storm 250. I have changed the oil and filled it back up with rotella 15w-40 so the oil is almost to the top of the oil check window with the bike level. Is this correct? I see the manual says to check the oil level on the dip stick with it leaning onto the kick stand.
Can someone know what way is correct? THANKS FROM A NEW OWNER.

I think that reading the oil level with the bike on the centerstand at the oil check window, is the way to do this.

Use the sight glass with the bike level it should be in the middle of the glass. Dont use the dip stick.

Don't over think it. it would ,however be fine even if I weren't perfect, the thing will run practically dry while climbing telephone poles.

Designed to run practically empty using neglected , thick dusty oil.
