Any know how many links for SSR SR125?

Picked up a used 2014 SSR SR125 with a 154FMI engine this week. Chain looks VERY stretched. I know it takes a 420 pitch chain but don't know how many links it has. Anyone happen to know what size I should order?

Thanks in advance

Order a 120 link chain and cut it to fit. It eliminates the guesswork.

Thank-you for the great suggestion. I pulled the stock chain and in case anyone is searching in the future, the stock chain is 102 links.

Was trying to check the service limit vs the owners manual. Anyone else see an error with what the SSR owners manual says?

You're welcome for the great suggestion. The main reason I suggest buying a longer chain when you don't know the stock size is because, unless you are the original owner, you don't know if the bike still has the stock sprockets on it, or whether or not the swingarm is a stock one or an aftermarket one that could be 2 to 4 inches longer.

I bought one of the chain 'breakers' at Harbor Freight. Kind of crude, but it has gotten the job done 3 times for me.

25" for 100 pins???

That's about 1/2 of what it should be.
