Palace of Gold again (hawk)
Took the hawk out to the palace to see how things are going. I was the only visitor, saw two workers. Had the place to myself. Very peaceful. When I got back I drained the oil and put 1.1 quarts of T6 in her. She shifts so smooth with fresh oil!

The palace has a pretty shady history. If you do some research, you’ll discover this. That was the motivating factor that made me want to go out there when I was a kid. The minute I had my '77 Dodge Dart (baby blue with a crank-out sunroof, I swear!), which cost $400.00 from a lot, I rode it out there. After all the controversy, it was pretty dead out there. We would trip or just hang out. It’s beautiful. Nobody bothered us because, unlike some of the jerks, we were respectful! Anyway, I feel almost drawn to the place. I am not religious, although I do believe in a higher power (AA). The place just makes me feel good, and there is an intriguing foreign lady (German?) that works the garden. I spoke of her before.
