I'm near Morgantown. Our place is about 20 miles out of town. Nice and quiet.

The sitting position is a little tight, but not bad. It will need higher bars. Which is what I plan to do along with the CCW forged clamps. There is a 140cc Piranha e-start semi-auto clutch, engine that would be great in the FXr. Without a clutch it would be easy to use off-road. I will take it everywhere on my Jeep. It looks like too much fun to me. My Stealth Fighter electric bicycle does not like the rain. This won't replace it, but will go more because of the wet factor. Rain and electricity do not mix. It has stayed home far too much.

Interesting that it has a hydraulic clutch.

That's probably an older picture. The earlier FXr110 model bikes had semi-auto transmissions. The left lever was for the rear brake. The 2017 FXr125 switched to a bigger engine with a manual clutch. Sadly, no hydraulic clutch.

I really like the Piranha 150cc e-start, manual transmission. They also make a 140cc semi-auto that would be cool off-road. I don't think the Daytona Anima 190 4V would fit in this motorcycle. It's a lot bigger.

Anything can fit if you use a big enough hammer

I don't think the intent of the FXR was to produce a good street bike. It was to produce a dirt bike that is street legal so that you dont need to haul it to the trails to ride.
-I'd take an FXR over a Grom or Grom clone any day.

I agree. It's probably not a good street bike, at all. For the riding that I would do on my property and the occasional ride into town it should be about perfect. A little more power would be required.

joeboyk,
That's great. My sister lives in Vienna, OH. I moved here when I was 12. I'm originally from Virginia but my parents are from Morgantown.

The FXR looked pretty nice to me but I understand what Chinese motorcycles are about. I suppose that I might still be on the fence about another chinabike.

I was looking at getting a Hooligun R (supermoto version) but I am kind of leaning toward the SSR SR450S (pretty much the same bike) The advantage of the Hooligun is that it has all of the road gear on it and a speedo, and I would bet it may be easier to register, but the SSR has a tail light and plate setup, and living where I do, they would plate it without blinking an eye. But I can get the SR450 for 1500 less and spend the difference on a Koso gauge setup, some handlebar switches, and turn signals (and probably still have $1000 left over lol)

I have seriously been considering giving up my hawk and goldwing to get one. I love riding my Hawk, but I love the power of my Goldie. I think a mid 40+hp, sub 300lb Enduro would satisfy both ends.

I will say this, the FXR does interest me, and at one time I considered one to do some sort of bigger engine setup on - Pirahna or Anima. I love minimalist bikes like that. I personally think it would be a great on and off road bike with just a bit more power - like Hawk level, 14-15hp.
