New to the Chinese engines...

Just introducing myself..... Former Honda mechanic now just dabbling with my personal "playbikes".....
Considering installing a 125 Lifan engine into a Honda C-200 (originally a 90 cc pushrod engine)....With a little Cafe' style....

Welcome, Steve!

I fixed your pic for you. I'm actually building something similar out of an old YB100 and a China 110 motor. I picked a 110, because after 111cc, you pay the same rate as a 400 in my area.

Did you know Azriel Strife from the twins forum? He's a member here as well.

What year is your bike? I had an old SS125 (I think) that had a very similar look... Except I think mine had a regular front end, and my cylinder was upright... Lol, it was so long ago I can't remember!

The bike is probably about a 64 from the serial, but was titled in 66.....

To give it that "Racer" look and feel, I swapped a 350 DLS drum wheel into those narrow forks.... Had to do a lot of fabrication to get it there...LOL.... Added a homemade glass seat and a few more changes, and it's well on its way to my vision of t....

Looks sweet, I love the front end! Yours looks way nicer than my old SS did. Here's what it looked like, not my bike (it burned), just a pic I found on the net

Very cool!... I love the look of the "sloper" twin cylinder engines, and that bike has one similar to the bike I'm trying to emulate/suggest with my build.....The CB93....

Cool!...I'll do just that.... Maybe some of my semi-insane modifications will inspire someone else to venture into practical considerations territory.....
I try to get an image of what I'd like the finished bike to look and perform like, and then step-by step (read trial and error) my way there....
The fun is in trying something different....LOL.....
