This one should be easy. I recommended my company NOT do a project because it wouldn't work as spec'd. Not what they wanted to hear so they went to the parent company. An engineer there said I was wrong and it would work. It didn't work and because we contracted the job, we had to spend a boatload of money to make it work. I'm just going down to see what the final outcome was.

Now you need something new to go with the vest. I think a nice 50cc Chinamen scooter.

Picked up a knife from the local Harley dealer yesterday before the trip. Took a picture of most of my collection as it is now. Missing from the pic is another rescue type knife and a multi tool.

This is the knife i got itself..

A 40L dry bag and a Berkley filet kit from Sierra Trading. Twenty bucks. I figure at sixty two years old with grandkids, I better learn how to filet a fish. When I was a kid, the rule was "you caught it, you clean it'. As I couldn't catch a cold as a kid, I never needed to learn how.

As for the dry bag, I have grandkids.

a 2 TB external drive for $5 which was being sold as non working. Figured at worst the drive was shot but i could use the enclosure...turned out to be the other way around. Could not get the drive to read on my big tower...but i then plugged the drive itself into my old tower and what do ya know? It worked..and it turned out to be full of movies and music. Score! Also bought a Nintendo DS portable for $40.
