Kato, before I scrap the bent bars, do you want them? I could try stuffing them into a flat rate box.

As you can see in the pic, you'll need to weld some material to the kickstand stop, so it doesn't go so far forward. Also, you might want to shorten it a bit; it doesn't lean enough.

Is the fender tweaked?

It reminds me of this but the suspension looks much better on that project frame.

Yeah, the Walmart version is a little more traditional, and relies on low tire pressure for suspension.

The Arctic Cat is more like an actual dirt bike, but powered by a utility motor. The Rupp was quite similar.

How bent are they? Would we be able to straightened them?

I did see the cracked piece on the kickstand. Hit it with a hammer back into place. We will weld that after the electrolysis is done.

All I have done so far is the count the teeth on the sprockets and determined that we have number 40 chain. I have some left from another project.

That is alot of money for the simple minibike. We will likely have about half that invested in this.

I made an executive decision and scrapped them. They were not only bent, but quite rusted and gouged. Somebody took a nasty spill with them. I'm sure you'll find something much better for cheap.

The bars I scrapped had no throttle tube, and the levers looked like mountain bike parts. I'm certain that you'll find better stuff.
