Tbr7 questions spark plug

I was looking at spark plugs. Is it worth it to change the one that came with the bike? I was trying to figure out the iridium equivalent to the ngk D8EA listed in manual.

That would be a DR8EIX (aka 6681 for part number). The IX designation at the end of the plug code denotes .6mm Iridium fine wire tip. The R is for a 5000ohm resistor type plug which all Iridium plugs are.

Into third year running this plug DPR8EIX-9 ( put in a while ago https://mymotorcycleblog.com/tbr7-spark-plug-upgrade/ ), some people like the E3 type, but this is a basic one that works for me.

Same plug that I run. I wouldn't call it basic though. Top end of the plug lineup. If you want a basic plug, that is the D8EA

I guess I thought it was basic compared to the "E3" or V-power ones.

Simple upgrade I like it, guess I picked the right one the first time. Thx!

Ahh, I get what you mean. Basic aka Traditional/Standard design.
