Spoke Question

Searched on the forum and couldn't find it... To what torque should the spokes be tightened to?
Also, watched some videos and it would appear the nipples get turned CCW or "left" to tighten the spoke. Is this correct? 2020 Brozz

Correct I'm also truing a new front rim. I was also wondering what the torque specs are for the spokes. Yes turning them CCW will tighten them

Spokes

Hi,

Did you ever get torque specs on tightening spokes?

Enjoy the Ride!

Nope, never did get a specification answer. I suspect there isn't a true rating for these wheels.. just go around and around to get the correct sounding resignation and check that the wheel is still true.

Here’s a video that I found on YouTube:

I’ve bought some handlebars and tools from this company. I don’t know if the Chinese wheels can handle the torque that Japanese wheels can, so I might go a little lower on the torque.

Enjoy the Ride!
