I am pretty sure we will go Predator. Just the few parts needed to possibly make it run will cost more than a 212cc predator. I am leaning toward the 420cc. That should be enough to power it. The vtwin would be nice, but I don't think it will fit under the seat. Also Mom does not need to go very fast. It is two blocks to the convenience store and about 8 blocks to Dollar General.

Next will be to save up money for parts.

Please make suggestions on how to go about this. I need to retain reverse as she won't be strong enough to push it backwards.

Use a torque converter (CVT) to drive the F-N-R box.

Here's a video that may help. It's kind of long but hang in there. Daren has some ideas. He also has a lot more videos on that vehicle. He has one that shows how fast that thing is. It's fast.

This is one I'm following. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

That is pretty much the setup I am looking at. I think I am going to go for the 212cc predator. We have no hills to climb and speed goal is 15 to 20mph. Currently it has a starter generator setup. I think I can make it start the 212 also and that would retain the charging system.
