I think I cost myself a small fortune...

So I put the battrey back in the XT660.. but I connected the termals the wrong way around
and poped a fuse.. well i didn't connect the second termial just touched it on the battrey....

So now it's showing error code 12...(no signal from the crank shaft position sencer)... So the injecton is not being told when to give a squirt of fuel...

you just have to be so careful...

yamaha parts are not cheap...

Any idea what the sensor is going to cost?

i will get the bad news on monday when i go to the yamaha shop....

i don't even know where the CPS is.... somewhere near the crankshaft might be a safe bet..

thats to bad ,hoepfully not more then $75.00,i wonder if there is a way to clear it are you sure that fryed it
