Thanks for letting us know about the Polar Bear Ride; I had not heard of it before.

My Dad and I went for a DS ride on the day after Christmas, and it was about 35F. Very refreshing.

I agree. However, it goes straight to the bones when the humidity is at 80%. Brrr.

Tell you what, yesterday was in the upper 20s and I was out a good part of the day in a sweatshirt(pants, too)

Supposed to be 40F+ today. I'd be out on the CX, but I'm working a bicycle swap meet all day. To make money to buy more bike stuff.

Even though it can be chilly, I'm grateful that I can ride almost all year here. I was raised in Edmonton (haven't grown up yet), and it was routinely -30 at this time of year.

Good day at the swap meet. Cleared several thousand pennies.

The venue. My pal, Weasel, in 'The Ride' t-shirt. The Ultimate Nice Guy.

My booth with another friend, N8, hiding. Sold the big cabinet for $170.

Pretty good day.

It was , Spud. Saw several friends from the Bicycle Game I hadn't seen in years. Made a bit of room in my garage and my new bluetooth helmet that I bought with some of the proceeds will be here Wednesday.

Cool patch. I want to do this next year. Please remind us on here. lol My 1st ride to work with my 1st bike 2 years ago it was 19 degrees out. Only thing that was cold was my fingers. I'm going to buy brush guards for my bike this time.

I'll try, but just remember New Years Eve and New Years Day.

BTW, where in Maine are you located? My kid lives in Union.
