That looks cool! My only concern would be now that I've had my Rhino out blasting around some rough trails, with the AWESOME suspension these have, you may be too busy hanging on for dear life to these "bucking rhinos" to be able to glance down to see what gear you're in! LOL!

Chain noise???

I am sure this has been talked about but can't find it. I just bought a Rhino 250. After about a week of riding there started to be a noise like values knocking. Having a friend walk next to me he said it was the chain. It only makes noise at low speed when first taking off or if I up shift to fast like it is rattling. The chain is tight so that is not the problem. Is this normal?? Could it be chain is to tight? Bought it put together by shop and they stated they made it tight for stretching.

My chain was WAY too tight out of box. Adjust that and also, if you haven't yet, change the oil. The stock stuff is garbage. It only takes a quart. Cheap insurance.

They did first oil change for me!! Very nice. I called and they said to check all 4 bolts for axel and that chain is running strait. I will also loosen it a little bit.

Update, found out chain was to loose (dumbass), problem fixed. Was funny though had to cut nut of tension bolt left side. Was stripped in middle of bolt!! Never hand that happen before. Found bigger nut to fit it. Took out with friend on his brand new can am ($8000) lol. Top speed was 38 mph.

Glad you got to take it out! So you had the joy like I did with my buddy on his Honda TRX 450. You get used to yelling..."You go ahead! I'll catch up!" ;-)
For the drawbacks, it's really hard to beat these for the $$$.

Governor

Is there another governor some where on or in the carburetor to adjust on the 250, other than the screw on throttle?

Everything on my stock carb was sealed up. Even the slide was red loc-tited. Unreal. I tossed it and got the Mikuni.

Right on! I'll take any info I can get. I'll have to sneak in a rear sprocket order with all of Mrs 2LZ TT stuff! ;-)
She'll never notice..........
