Sorry to hear about your stroke. I was raised by a dad in a wheelchair because of a stroke. He was 46 when he had his. Keep up the fight. He eventually got out of the chair and was able to drive again.
Regarding the RE's, I'm a huge fan. Great bikes for the bucks. Also a fantastic history and heritage.

The manufacturers waited so long to bring back the 60s/70s style retro look starting with the Kawasaki W8OO, then Royal Enfield's INT650 and Continental models I didn't get a chance to try any of them out. It feels like they conspired to play a dirty trick on me. LOL |
