Hawk seat retainer pin
Waiting for parts to complete this mod. Looks like it should work really nice!
Kind of a long video, but he explains it pretty well.

I have almost finished this seat mod and I have to say it’s really cool, but…can any of y’all tell me why he puts a pin/washer/rubber washer in hole 5? I understand the washers at the bottom, then the spring, then topping it off with the pin at hole 6, but I can’t see a reason for the one above the spring assembly. Thanks!

He might be just using it as a spacer for adjustment.
