Anyone know what a auto-wave transmission is

I can't find any technical info about it.

Just 1 of the weird result of spoken Chinese in machine translator... = 自动 automatic 波 wave... Why spoken choose "波" It's old terms: As how ppl tune radio by the knob (wave/ band...) when driving "stick"...
