I got the speedometer working. Ordered the wrong cable. I was able to cut the fittings off my old cable housing and install them on the new cable housing. Couldn't just replace the cable because the housing was shredded. |
This is such good news. I am going to register one of my bikes today. I ordered the throttle cable you posted. It came in but the male adjuster was way to big looked like it went to a four wheeler. They were the correct length so I cut the old cable male input off with a Dremel and made a line down the center to slip the cable through and now it works great. I pulled my carb off and the pilot get was clogged in my 150cc and the main jet had vibratted completely loose. I put everything back together on the 150cc and everything ran great for about a min until the jets got clogged again with rust from the gas tank. Now I'm looking into what other tanks will fit in case I want to switch it out. I saw several Apple cider vinegar videos but I'm skeptic. I flushed my tank several times but each time more and more flakes.
