I assume that CSC's numbers are based on the actually model they have been riding. will be interesting to see the real world numbers on the bashan,

Maybe they weighed the bike, and maybe they didn't. CSC publishes the RX3 weigh figures provide by Zongshen, but the RX3 weighs about 20 pounds more than the specs. However, the weigh specifications for the CSC TT250 seem about right for a Chinese bike of that design. I'm convinced the Bashan bike has got to weigh more than 260 pounds.

I chose the white with orange. Plan on adding more of the same orange color to the bike. Similar to the TT250 shown in Columbia.

thanks for the info, 1cyl. how was the saddle at 6'1? soft? comfy? did bike feel small? med? full size.? any distinct impressions you recall in general? ps i like the white orange 1 2

exactly

I already have a heavier, water cooled, fuel injected rig...
I wanted a lighter carbed dual sport with electric and kick start that would be better for the stuff that my versys isn't good for.

The saddle is wider than most of the saddles provided on Japanese dual sport bikes of a similar size. The saddle is what I would call a medium firmness. Can't judge the saddle comfort level until I do a lengthy ride or test ride. The bike would fit into the medium to smaller size in comparison to most 650cc motorcycles. Not "clown size"! Overall it would fit in the larger size in the 250cc dual sport category.
