Apollo Sportrax 125 oil leak - what brand engine?

My kids have an Apollo Sportrax 125cc atv which leaks oil from the sight glass seal, clutch cover, and the two big bolts on the cylinder head. It’s not leaking a ton of oil but seems like it would be a few easy fixes with the right gaskets and seals. From searching online it appears its a Zongshen engine but I cannot find any markings on the engine which would identify it. Is it a Zongshen engine? And can I purchase any gasket kit for a 125cc engine and it will fit?

I found some that appear to fit at https://mytrailbuddystore.com/zongsh...gasketset.aspx

Thanks for the help!

Look for the engine numbers on a pad next to the shifter

So it would be leaking at the stator cover. Still trying to figure out engine manufacturer.

I bought a pack of gaskets from Amazon that said it fit a 125cc engine. Worked like a charm I think they are the same. Look to see the bolt holes match up and you should be fine.

I just picked up a New 2017 Sportrax, any idea where to get a rear sprocket? The inner diameter is 47mm. I can only find ones with 52mm but then it doesn't ride on the hub, only the bolts.

Why are you looking at replacing it?

These 52.4mm cames in 2 varitey:
https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=608475382218 Zongshen, Lifan
https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=521606865936 Jialing, Loncin
Sight glass, case cover oil leaks can fixed easily using RTV seal maker IF u know how to applies it (don't clog the oil paths !!!) .

It has a hard time going up inclines from a stop, gotta get a running start. Mine came stock with 12 front and 37 rear sprockets. I just found BMI Karts has sprockets to fit. I ordered a 45T. My 10yr old doesn't need that much top end anyway. They were out of stock till I called. Then they corrected the website so I could order one. They are 48mm I guess. Kinda odd size. I bought the 52mm that is listed as fitting Apollo on some sites, but after I tore everything off I found it was too big.

I’ll keep that in mind for the future. My 7 and 6 year old don’t need it to go fast yet but I have noticed it’s pretty slow off the line. Please keep the forum updated with any mods you do in the future!
