Zongshen ZS167LMM engine and Mukuni VM26 carb

Hi

Has anyone got a Zongshen ZS167LMM engine and using a Mukuni VM26 carb

I have a Apollo AGB 30 using Zongshen engine and have upgraded to VM26 carb as the Jing Ke carb was worn and sliding needle valve was bent and could not find a replacement.

Could not find a Jing carb so went for Mukuni VM 26 as this has same size throttle slide of 24mm

My question is does any one know what pilot jet and main jet size to use.

Carb comes with 20 pilot and 100 main.

Some forums suggest 30 pilot and 115 main to start with

We live inland but are about 226 feet above sea level.

Any advise as where to start would be appreciated. I know I may have to change the jets but wanted a base line to start with.

Thanks
