I can't remember who it was asking about Cub Clones but ran across one today. It's the DF125RTX. Bemonte Bikes are a sister company to Venom Motorsports so you can expect similar support as Venom. I assume there separate companies because they are probably like car dealers. You can't sell a GMC out of a Chevy dealer or visa versa. This must be there way of getting around it. Who knows?

That was me, asking about Lifan's Cub-125 ADV, a better bike than this one. Note the 1960s-tech cantilever forks, small drum brake vs the Lifan's disk, odd front fender angling. Not saying it's not worth the price asked, but I'd pay another $500ish for the better Lifan product, which is also more trail-oriented. I do like the single seat/rack setup though.

Yeah, I asked Venom about Lifan's Cub-125 ADV. They are checking on it, but there was someone else a while back asking about Cub clones similar to this one and nobody was able to find one. It looks like Belmonte Bikes is the only dealer that even has one to sell. I agree the Lifan's Cub-125 ADV would be a much better bike.

I think it was me axing about Cub clones, maybe someone else too. Especially with Honda Cubs and Trails being very scarce, this looks like an opportunity for Lifan to get into small street/DS bikes with a good quality product that clobbers Honda on price.

Yeah, direct copy of an early-60s Honda Cub. The cantilever forks and drum front brake are good enough for just casual street riding. Plus it has both rack and passenger seat, pretty cool. Even a front rack!

Maybe they could come up with a slogan to sell their small bikes, like, "You meet the nicest people on a Lifan".

It might have been me, a while back... I like the fact that it is a cub-style frame, and a clutched motor, but I really hate the seemingly cholo/lowrider influenced wheels... Could I get a free downgrade to normal wheels? I would think it might make the rim weaker to have 72 holes in it for spokes, instead of 36. It would also look better with the original cub fairing.
