190 swap in Hellcat problem HELP !

So i put the 190 into my Tao Tao Hellcat, wasnt as easy as expected but its done. Start it up and its crackling like a multi cylinder engine with crossed plug wires. Wont come close to idling. I "think" I have the wiring correct. Removed the air box too but cant see that causing a problem. Any ideas ?

Disclaimer-- I have no idea, but for both selfish reasons (on my part) and the fact that our more knowledgeable among the members probably prefer it, can you post a video? That might get our experts' thinking caps on...

Are you using the parts that came with the new motor, or the original ignition stuff?

Along with what Weldandgrind stated. Even though it's a new engine, Did you check the valve lash?

Carb was bad

Found the carb was flooding. Seller replaced it and it now runs great.

Great. Hurry up and post pics and your opinion on the power increase. (Just kidding. Take your time and do it right the first time).
