Found a new one for my Kansas yard.

Look at the deal I got here. Restocking my Kansas collection.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/170829882292...9#ht_500wt_949

Think I will get this one setup for mowing. I forsee a possible China power unless that Kohler is revivable. (no compression says seller)

That engine is not correct. Like I care. I won't change anything that can't be put back to stock.

Great score! We'll need many pics of the revival.

That's a nice score, Allen!

I think I got a deal on it. I am going to need a lawn mower. This will just require alittle bit of work.

Looks like a great buy and a fun project. Do you plan to restore it?

I won't restore it to correct status, just to worker status. The engine is not the original. Missing the belt guard. Will need tires. The rest looks original.

I will probably clean it up and give it some new paint. Good used tires. Make a belt guard unless I can find a good deal on an original.

The seller says it has no compression. Kohlers like that will stick an exhaust valve. I pull the plug and fill them up with some MMO. Let them sit a few days. That is a newer model engine that likely has electronic ignition.

Hopefully the deck is good.

Too cool but I would imagine those tires would be awefully hard on the lawn.

I will get some turfs. They are cheaper and much easier on the grass. I am sure I can find a set for nearly free from someone wanting ag tires.

I traded away the wheelhorse. It is near restoration completion at its new home. The engine had a broken rod, but no other damage.

Did you trade it for anything interesting?

Not really. I got a Wii for girls and to use for streaming the netflix. It came with a bunch of games. We have been getting good use from it.

I'm glad the girls are enjoying the Wii. You don't often hear of a tractor being traded for a Wii.

I got some cash with the deal too. Plan is to buy a larger tractor at some point.
