Cost of New Starter Relay

Does anyone know what the price of a replacement starter relay would be in Argentina?

Hi Ava, still with starting issues? Where are you now?

"Original", from $600 to about $1600 (less than ten dollar to twenty something)

But it's a fairly standard part, you can substitue a "universal" one like this, if you can't find the specific ítem:

Regards

Juanro

Hi Juanro,

Yes, unfortunately. So far the carburetor was adjusted to less of a fuel-saving mode, it got a new battery, and I cleaned the battery terminals and made new connections. But none of these fixed the root of the problem. Found out today the issue is a poor starter coil. Currently in San Rafael. Going to try to get a new one made here, to order one will take a couple weeks.

Ok, that's not the starter but the charging coil, also known as stator. One of the few partes of the motorcycle easy to home (or shop) fix. Good luck with that. Let us know if you need some help.

Yes, I originally thought it was the starter relay because that's where the sound was coming from when it was unable to run. Now I wish I had taken the left crankcase cover off earlier to see the problem.
Do you have any recommendations for a shop to fix this at in San Rafael?

This is San Rafael, Mendoza? I'll ask around and let you know.
