The cheapest brag worthy score?

Not that I have one but just the example of should have.
Bought myself an XMOTOS 250 dirt bike about 4.5 years ago after a lot of long thought. At the same time, I could have gotten a Samurai 250cc street bike for about $1200 in the states. I had the money at the time and nearly bought one of each. Really wishing I had because....

Now they're all nearly double!
And of course, I want to buy one.
Has anyone made an impressive score on one of these chinese bikes?
I just can't see spending over 1200-1400 on one considering what you can get used in the 1200-2000 range.

I'm waiting to hear back from some Alibaba sellers that list minimum quantities of 1 and maximum selling price of as low as $1200 and up to $1600 but no surprise, they are all ignoring my messages.
