Lots of scooters.

I have seen more scooters today then I have ever noticed. 7 of them.

At least 3 were china scoots and one of those had a bicycle attached to a custom rack on the back.

One honda and one yamaha. Not real sure, but I think the last one was a china scooter.

All were 150cc and bigger.

The wave of the future is scooters, not enduro/motorcycle. My friends, collegues and acquitances all say that shifting gears is too much of a hassle and wouldn't want to ride of motorcycle. However, they all would consider a scooter because of its automatic tranny. I guess we are just getting lazier and lazier.

Kat, we have been noticeing the same thing.I see at least two to three a day and a year ago it would be one a week or longer.
You may remember That last summer a buddy and I was going to start a dealership.I ended up just selling a few Atv's and a Hi-bird 250 out of my driveway.Well now my buddy is getting ready to jump into the scooter business hook line and sinker.Complete with a shop and mechanic. He is currently trying to decide which scoots to handle.

I like the Lance scooters. Maybe the roketas for cheaper models.

I have been debating opening a scooter shop too. Of course not until next year.

I think a scooter shop decked out with parts, after market upgrade kits,Nice show room, would make a killing. The nice thing would be people wouldn't have to finance them, they can just swipe the card and ride away.

Impulse sales and no repoes. Alot of people would put a $900 scooter on a card.

I really need to open a shop.

Hey,
You guys should check out the new Baotian Canada scooters we're bringing in. I've got 2-stroke 50cc scooters starting @ 1499.00, and 4-stroke scooters for $1299.00 - we even have a liquid cooled 150cc scooter with 16" wheels for $2399.00. So far the dealer responce has been great. You'll see a ton of these around in a short while.
