Probably 230cc. 167FMM means 67mm bore, air cooled, motorcycle engine, 250cc class. If it were 197cc it would be a 167FML

I'm now seriously looking at this. Mrs. 2LZ is happy because the bathroom remodel is done, so now it's my turn! :-)
I don't really think it matters much which version of the pushrod Hondoid motor it has, they are all very bullet proof and have ample torque for what I'll need it for. I also have a smaller countershaft sprocket I took off the 167fml I have in my 200cc X-Moto so I can gear it down to pull better. Once I get this ordered, I'll need to fab a tow (pin) hitch to haul my cart up and down the hill.
Has anyone fabbed a good little hitch for these? Post pics if so.
Also, I know somewhere here is the "magic decoder ring" for the engine models. I need to locate it just for my own education.

Starting to get sweaty palms and an itchy mouse finger.....

While it would be convenient for all 167FMM (or any other CG clone) to have interchangeable parts, that is not necessarily the case. Engines with the same number designation may have different crankshafts, different gear ratios, different types of gear cuts, different clutch parts, different oil pumps, etc..

My TaoTao Rhrino 250

I just bought a TaoToa Rhino 250 this Novenber of 2015. It has a 167FMM engine. The plate on the front on the front of the chassis says it is 197cc.

Weld, apparently you have great mental capabilities, not unlike the Great Kreskin! (dating myself) Mrs. 2LZ felt your Enabler Vibes all the way from the Great White North and ordered me a new Rhino today!! :-) I guess the bathroom remodel passed the test!
I'm not going to sleep until the crate lands here.....

How am I supposed to sleep now? I gotta sit here and wait for your quad to arrive, and then for you to get around to post pics!

I remember the Amazing Kreskin.

BTW, I live in the Great Green South. Pretty much like Seattle.

Got the shipping notice! It's on it's way! Boy....the gal on the phone wasn't kidding when she said to expect two to three weeks. Glad she gave me a heads up. Doesn't make sleeping any easier though. The upside is it gave me time to clean the garage and make room! Woo hoo!

250 motor

some of the other 250 atv models have the 250 cc motor... just the 250 D has the 200... I ask them in VANCOUVER ABOUT PUTTING THE 250 CC MOTOR IN THAT MODEL.. they will look into it when the CDN comes up for Canadian orders.. since I am a dealer in CANADA,... They have the Segway .. balance boards in now.. order 20 of them... in th e last 10 days... I only have 5 of them left... pretty neat... check them out youtube

There was a guy at the IMS in Sac buzzing around on one of those boards. Impressive!
FLASHLIGHTBOY, understanding that you're are a dealer and well-versed in CB's, isn't the 167FMM actually the 229 or 230 motor? I understand that the 67 means bore, but the "M" (250 designation) should mean a longer stroke, should it not? I know the websites advertise this as a 200....but the frame tag on mine also indicates a 150! (LOL!)
The Chinese. So specific about their specs... ;-)

Weld, pics coming.
