100-250cc DualSport Wanted, Vegas/SoCal?

If anyone within about 100 miles of Vegas that has a decent dual sport in the under $1000 range, I'd love to hear from them!

Thanks,
Duke

Welcome; we are glad you joined us. It's too bad you aren't near East Washington. FastDoc has a nice dual sport for sale.

I was gonna say. I've got your bike just not your geography.

For what I want for it you could pay to have it shipped and still make your budget.

On the other hand I may hang onto it a little for a Chinese Dual Sport Idaho Adventure.

It's just hard to take a long off-road trip on a GY2 when you have a KLX parked next to it...

On the other hand Ron may be trailering some of his stuff to Phoenix soon and you could meet him on route.

It appears his route takes him through Vegas.

Better than new GY200.

Are you talking about an all-chinabike trip to Bonneville for Speed Week?

I'm sure that Bro-in-Law is up for the chase.

Doc, is it by any chance the one you listed for Ron recently? The 2010? I'd love to hear more. Can you post or PM some pictures? Otherwise, my email address is duke3478@gmail.com if that's easier.

Thanks for the welcome! I think Chinese bikes are right up my alley, as I've been dealing with the IPMS crowd ("I Paid More Syndrome") for years when buying Chinese tools from harbor freight, Chinese gears for my boat, etc. I've gotten many, many assurances over the years that my tools, gears, etc would be broken or useless in short order. Strangely, when I take care of them, they don't... And I've used the same tools to wrench on my friends' Kawasakis, Hondas, Harley's, etc. when they were broken.

I expect to maintain and fix my own machines anyway, might as well pay HALF or less for the same enjoyment, haha!

Doc, I'm very interested, please tell me more.
