I only had a 150cc chinabike, and yes it was fast off the line. Now I own a 1972 cb350 twin. When I blip my throttle, it's like getting kicked in the chest. I re-sprocketed it to slow it down, but didn't like the difference on the highway. At 36HP, I firmly believe it will hit 20-30-40-50-60-70 or 80MPH way faster than a new 250cc chinabike. I think that if I threw a little more cash at this bike, I'd give a brand new ninja250 a good run in the 1/4 mile. Some say the cb350, (a 36 year old 325cc bike) would win.
