100hp minibike.

About midway in the video. 100hp minibike.

I had a bonanza when I was little. Mine only had a 3hp.

Ah, memories.
One of those memories includes my Moms' flower bed and me not being instructed on the correct use of the brake.

I think I still have some of those magazines. I know I still have Car Craft Vol.1 Num. 1.

Excellent vid! I have an old minibike frame in the shed, and I'm thinking olive drab, ammo boxes and the NIB HF 6.5 hp motor I have in stock. I think a 30mm Mikuni will be perfect.

Are the minibikes making a comeback? I don't see any around here. I bet they are a lot of fun.

I think so. I am seeing more about them. I remember my older brothers getting some mail order Heald Broncs. We assembled them in the basement. Would have been about winter 1981. I was little.

My first 'motorcycle' was a Rupp minibike with a 4HP Tecumseh (IIRC).

The first girl I ever took for a motorcycle ride was Beverly, and she was impressed as I think she was the first girl I ever (really) kissed.

Chicks dig minibikes.

Doc-You might want to reread what you wrote about that young lady.

Misplaced modifier. VERY busy day, in a rush. I'll fix it but it is also true as written ;-)

I also need a new keyboard. After about 2 years of beating my frustration into this one it's ready for the scrap heap.

It was fixed by the time I got here, but I can imagine what it said.

Let's just say that I did quite a double take when I read it.

I wanted a Rupp in the worst way when I was a kid. I remember reading about them in a book called Mini Bike Hero back in 1978. That book was such a joy to me that I bought a copy about 10 years ago, so i could read it to my kids.

They show up on the local CL occasionally, and I'm gonna grab one some day.
