I am pretty sure anyone with a Vader could answer your questions. Baodiao also is called Boom! Industries, so if you see 'Boom Vader 125'--mostly same bike. Also, Venom Motorsports sells a few of the Baodiao bikes rebadged as the Venom X20 and X21. Find the 'Street' section and Scooter/Pit bike/etc. section and find posts from people with Vaders, Boom Vaders, or Venom X20 or X21. They are all made by a company called Baodaio, and the company makes a few versions of the same bike (the frames and plastics might be different, but the engines should be pretty much the same as they are made by the same manufacturer).

Thumbs Up re: Congrats!

Thank you! I dont have my bike yet but UPS called me already and it is scheduled to arrive at monday 8/6/18. I negotiated with Craig from Safer Warehouse and gave me a sweet deal that I could not pass. I ordered these August 2 and will arrive on Monday (4 days) which is awesome.

I've already bought a 17T sprocket andmikuni carb after so much reading in this website.

I have also ordered brake & clutch levers coz i heard stocks are flimsy.

Good times coming ahead! Thanks again!

I paid a little more for my Honda Grom Clone and got it from Venom Motorsports for a few reasons. First off, the bike ships fully assembled where as the other bike from Saferwholesale and other drop ship websites will come with the front tire off and its a mystery how fully assemble the bike. Second, their reviews are great and they stock all parts in stock for these bikes where other websites are drop shippers and dont carry any parts in stock. Third, the bike has gold front forks like the Honda Grom!

My x20 is pretty!!

The Vader guru is Pete, the owner of Kronik Racing. He has been dealing with aftermarket speed parts for pitbikes for years, and the Vaders were a natural progression from that, including several of his customers building their Vaders with 190cc crate engines. Venom is reportedly great, too, but my guess is they deal in stock parts, not racing parts.

That may be the perfect bike for a Monkey Davidson project.

Awesome!

You may want to reconsider the 17t front sprocket. I fits and all and seems good but I found, after someone else pointed it out on theirs, the chain makes a bit of contact with the inner housing.

Going 16/32 will give you the same ratio and less spinning mass.

You may find the motor won't pull enough to wind out 4th with that gearing anyway. Even with a carb and pipe.
