Crankcase Breather Tube
Hi all. Just wanted to know if any of you have experienced your crankcase breather tube being partially full of oily gas
 . Came back from a 180 mile run today and the crankcase breather tube was between a quarter to half full of gas that looked and felt like it had some oil mixed in with it. Pics for reference to the tube I am talking about

That tube collects the oil from the crankcase vent. That tube should not have any fuel in it.
 The tube behind the swingarm bolt drains excess fuel which collects outside the gas cap.You must be getting fuel in your engine oil, which might be caused by a bad fuel injector. I suggest you promptly contact CSC and tell them of this problem.

Indeed. Does the crankcase smell of fuel?

I have had a similar issue, the liquid was all but clear and consisted of a water/ fuel mix.
The concentration of fuel in this liquid was enough to chemically melt the black Oil/water separator. I have recently replaced the oil/water separator and fitted a new injector. Its too early to say whether it has cured this problem and also an issue I have been having of fuel contamination causing the oil level to rise. These problems seemed to be at their worst during the colder months of the year, so it might not be until winter that I will truly know  Update ------------ ** oil level rising might not be an issue after all, check out CSC blog on checking your oil level ** Last edited by katflap; 07-01-2015 at 04:14 PM.
