Installed a 12 volt Cooling Fan on Rhino 250

Since I run out in the desert in 1st or 2nd gear at idle throttle I decided to install a cooling fan. It's just a Walmart truck interior fan. With temps getting close to 100 already, I also went to 20-50 Oil.

That's actually kinda cool! I've thought about trying to do something like that with my sons enforcer but use a smaller fan.

Would love to know what difference it actually makes in cylinder head or oil temps. Do you by any chance have a infrared thermometer? A small automotive radiator fan would work well too as they are made to handle water.

I don't have an thermometer, I'll have to see if I can borrow one.

For all the stream crossings I do I would be better off with a trolling motor and prop.

Looks like a nice mod for dry hot areas though.

Maybe the fan will act just like a trolling motor?
