bogies next crazy idea....WARNING Supermoto content...

so... ever since i started watching youtube vids of supermotos, i have wanted a su-mo...now thats gonna happen, and on the dirty cheap too... to start this off, i picked up a set of 1987 kawasaki ex250 ninja rims...for $113 shipped... need to get a cush drive hub for it, and a proper sprocket but other than that, parts are fairly well done (aside from fabbing the appropriate spacers for the rims and making the proper brake mounts...all stuff i can do LOL) so yeah... picture these rims (painted magnesium/goldish color) on my bike...

I wouldn't worry about a cush hub too much unless you like to shift without the clutch alot

Sorry i didnt see the ask for updates.... Well no actual work has been done yet, other than Danita thinking it would be a nice gesture to buy me a shinko 567 front tire and 568 rear as well as a sprocket to convert it to 520 chain so i can use the stock ninja rear sprocket... I did also pick up a rear axle and spacers for the ninja, figure it would be a good starting point for modding stuff...

Picture time... On the left we have a 110/80-16 shinko 567, and the right a 130/80-16 shinko 568...

The left is the front tire, the right is the rear if you didnt already figure out that fat one for the rear...LOL

What helped you to decide on 16", vs. 17" or 18"?
