A few years ago alot of members had difficulty registering in NJ. They may have eased up and got more bikes listed now.

I've been working with the guy I bought my bobber from to clean up the specs on the DF on his site and am almost done. He said he was just using the specs supplied by the manufacturer but we know that is not wise.

http://www.extremescooters.biz/250cc...r-chopper.aspx

Still need to get him to understand the difference between model number and engine size in the specs.
Ok to call it a DF2500RTB but not ok to call it a 250cc bobber.

I tried with the CCW guys but they blew me off.

I am pissed because I ordered the flat black model like he just got but mine came as a gloss black model.

Took a ride on the Dong Fang out to Sanibel Island to do a little work on our cottage.
Beautiful day.

That's a beautiful machine (I know, I've said that before ). Is that stripe on the tank new?

FastDoc,
No sand fleas in the sheepskin that I can feel. I moved the sheep skin over to the scooter today. I have a gel pad to try on the bobber.

W&G,
Stripe is stock.

Any New Englanders,
Cumberland County Choppers 314 Warren Avenue Portland, Maine 04103
has four DF250RTB bobbers in stock.

If you look at the DFs at Cumberland County Choppers they all have the blacked out paint scheme on the headlight, turn signals, etc.

Flat black model in front, then silver, and gloss black
I like that paint scheme better than mine with the chrome because it looks more old school.

I'm diggin' the flat black. I'd like to see that front fender with a small peak on it, like 1/2" angle iron curved to match the fender and then welded on.

To paraphrase Doc, who names these bikes? It occurred to me that both "dong" and "fang" have connotations in English. When you put them together, it's almost rude.

I hereby propose that Barnone's bike is simply referred to as Fang.

Looks like it was a nice day for a ride. No lovely young ladies walking dogs today?

W&G,
I near as I can find Dong Fang means "The East" .

Slim pickings for lovely young ladies walking their dog on Sanibel and Captiva Islands today. I'll try Fort Myers Beach (where the younger crowd hangs out) tomorrow.

No offence intended Vince; I'd buy one of those bikes in a minute if I could.
