CVT cool air intake

Just thought I'd post this. Its one of the best mods ive ever done to any of my ATV's

keep in mind the way it is set up is not for water proofing, although it allowes much deeper water.

I did it to see if I could keep the cvt cooler and wow does it work

there is a pantyhose filter on the end

They make for boats called 'bilge blower' 12v fans that fit inline with that tube. Would that be of any benefit? Here is a quick example.

cool mod but you loose one headlight lol ...I ran a similar hose one the wifes up to the box in the middle under the hood and that seems to work as well and keeps mud and water away at the same time

I like it!...especially with how worthless the stock headlights are. I'll give Swampy a heads-up on this. He's looking for a new intake setup (both). He's always looking for the nearest stream.

Very nice mod right there. What type of hose is that? That's another one added to the list. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry for the delay the hose is off of a old shopvac I had in the garage that I never threw out
