I bought a pile from you also, and don't get to ride much right now, so I'm set for years.

Yeah, same here. I got a 6 pack from CSC when I got the bike.

The only thing I see wrong with the ad is you show two types of filters with no way to select which one you want. The same with your clutch lever bracket. Most people like things simple like to select one before you purchase without having to contact the seller and telling them which one they want. Less chance of error between seller and buyer. Myself I would pass that one up and find another seller with the section feature. For example like this one for color selections on levers. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-Motorcycle-7-8-22mm-Brake-Clutch-Master-Cylinder-Lever-Set-Reservoir/183635672210?hash=item2ac189fc92:m:mh175N6EzNk939f wbwIVJDQ

I think that would help.

If I didn't have so many damn paper filters on my shelf, I'd buy a couple of the cleanable units. One for each RX.

I think paper filters for road bikes is a better idea
Mesh in my opinion is more for MX bikes that get quick oil changes due to oil abuse when ridden hard etc
Road time and MX time isn’t the same on oil

Totally agree. Paper is necessary for most bikes.

Paper usually filters smaller particles, a feature when oil life covers many miles. Dirt bikes usually suffer contamination problems no filter will solve and still flow oil, so oil is changed at low miles, which is a very effective way of controlling contaminant levels. Many 4-stroke engines really just have a screen and/or centrifugal device to keep the big stuff out of oil, and simply depend on frequent changes for oil cleanliness.

As for me, I look carefully at paper filter elements before tossing them. Quality oils, such as Mobil 1 and a few others sold as synthetic, allow very little wear, so paper filters last a long time. Generally, I end up changing oil 3-4 times before changing filters, because after 3-4 oil changes, I feel guilty even though still can't see any contamination in the paper. Filters are expensive.

I tried to make the filter not so expensive at $7.50 each to your door (must buy 2) But maybe I am still too expensive? looking online they sell each for around $10 - $12 so thought I had it right..........

lots of lookers but I only sold 1 pair so far and had hoped they would move a little more frequently

Filters are cheap, I just toss them every time. Then there's the reverse side on diesels; drawing out the oil changes but changing the filter, because it's so cheap compared to oil.

And diesels take a lot of oil. One of my trucks takes 18 gallons.

Your prices are fine, NZ. CSC just pushes too many and the market is flooded.

Prices don't matter this time of year--no time to ride. Very depressing. I need ride time to treat depression after losing a wife and child. Riding and happy thoughts of what I could do with a big lottery win are much cheaper and significantly more effective than therapists.

You need both. Source: Lost a son three years ago.

Although the weather is rather good, my ride time has been limited by a few things. I also won't be doing all the miles I used to do on larger bikes. This seat and position is just not good for my back at all. I'm not sure what the improvement could be. I'm just built for hours on a sport-tourer, but not on a dirt bike. I expect less than two oil changes per year.

My only reason for wanting the mesh filter is I like a cleanable filter. Just preference.

You're right about no time to ride. Need warmer days..... This is the time of year I go out to the garage and see how many batteries I need to resuscitate (or replace) in the rolling stock. I need to buy more float chargers for the down season.

Time spent cleaning filters is time not riding. I'd buy a disposable paper air filter if it were offered. Mesh oil filters also do a terrible job of cleaning the oil.

I ordered some parts from Tako and they all arrived quickly via DHL without issue! I can fully endorse ordering parts from him and I will certainly order from him again in the future.
