Where can I get service for my Chinese Scooter???

Hello,

I just purchased a Lance Duke Touring 150cc from a private party with only 19 miles on it. I will be using it to commute to and from work and I am getting frustrated that I cannot find any place to service this scooter. I live in Yarmouth, Maine (04096).

Please help. I am new to this forum so any help would be appreciated.

What type of service do you need? Most have found that your just need to do it yourself.

Nothing about that scooter will be too difficult even for a beginner.

Where to get service in Maine?

As I purchased the bike from a private party with just 19 miles on it, I want to have a mechanic go over the whole thing (breaks, cables, fluids, spark plug, tighten screws, etc.) so I can get a sort of "baseline" on the bike.

Also, I want to develop a relationship with a mechanic so if/when things need fixing, I have someone to go to.

Any help would be appreciated!

http://www.lancepowersports.com/locator

I went the website and found there dealers.

Just put in your zip code to bring them up.

Hey another Mainah! I am up here in Rockland. Not familiar with dealers or repair shops down your way. There is a great repair shop in Nobleboro that will fix anything. Louie's Powersports. But that would be a haul from Yarmouth. There are some good scooter shops in NH namely http://www.aogear.com in Manchester and if you go to the Flyscooters Website http://www.flyscooters.com and click dealers they have a dealer in NH and most Fly dealers will fix anything too. PM me if you need some other ideas and I'll look into it and give you a call.

Chinese anything is not a good deal if you're running to a service center for any little thing all the time. Nothing is even broken and you won't go over it yourself, that's a sign you should just cough up the cash for a honda because the cost is going to work out the same for you.

The honda may be 3x the price or you may find a used one pretty damn close but even a 30 year old honda or Kawa or Yama in good shape would be a better bet.

Just a dose of reality...

I would much rather buy a brand new china bike than a 30-year-old anything.
