Razz CSC TT250 Mods

Hey guys, wanted to make a thread where we post our mods and success with mods. Here are some I have done so far.

*Full Exhaust System
*Denso Iridium Spark Plug (IX24B 5376)
*Removed Orange Stickers
*Hand Guards
*Opt7 LED Headlight Bulb
*Sylvania Zevo Mini LED Bulb for Cluster

That's all I have for now, but I plan on swapping out the carb and getting a new durable drive chain.

Man I still don't know why you would spend 2500 on a bike that you get could get for 1300. No mods should be needed. I can buy a Yamaha 2010 XT 250 with 2500 miles that wouldn't need anything done to it. I'm not in California thank God but just sayin

It came to ~$2300 shipped to my door, all brand new with a warranty for the first year. The bike may be inferior to some Jap bikes, but the service I get from CSC makes it worth every dime. Plus, I know everything is new and I love it so far.

I'm waiting for the day they build a bike worth having...
the last 2 I have owned were "well lets say not very good"
my first one a Shineray 200 I broke the frame at the swing arm pivot/motor
mount And put a 10mm twist in the swing arm... It did take me about 7 months
to do it...

The TT250 & Hawk are just the same old , same old from what I can see/read..
Would like to see and ride a RX3..... they maybe the start off something...
Anyway it's good to see them designing there own motor & getting away from
copying...

looking at whats coming from china the Skyteam 250 trail/dirt bike "looks" to
be by far the pick of the bunch....
I don't hear anything about them on here so i don't think you fella's get them..
is a real pitty....

I'm still waiting china men... get yer crap togeather... and I may give
yer some money...

Strengthened swing arm here, name brand part there, pretty soon same quality and same price as Japanese bike. + interest on loan to pay for it....nah, good enough for me.

With the hundreds of thousands or more they sell to the world, they'll probably be able to squeak by without your money, just barely.

Like most things that come out of China it seems like a few extra minutes of design and assembly time and a few pennies here & there would make the products MUCH better, but those minutes and pennies show up on the price tag. Sometimes the shortcomings lead to disastrous events, and I've dealt with a few, but usually just less than stellar performance. Lets not forget that even some of the big 4 bikes are flawed. Like the mighty Hyabusa that knocked my beloved XX down from being the speed champion, the Busa also enjoyed some little things like catching fire, falling off the kickstand, seats breaking off,.... Then there's the longer list of screw-ups from the higher priced American and Italian 2 wheeled offerings. If my Ducati had been as flawed as some of the ones I read about I'da been pissed, but lovers of them, like some of the CB lovers, will just fix the flaws. To me, starting out with an inexpensive CB justifies spending a little time & money making it better. So far I haven't read of any major failures of a TT250.

We do mods because we want to improve the bike. It's like a hobby for some of us. You give me a 2010 Yamaha XT 250 and I will point out the flaws in a couple of rides. It's all about setting up the bike for the rider.
