Don't feel bad, Doc. I don't understand the avatar, either.

It's not an age thing, it's that I have teenagers at home.

It's the equivalent of Duhhh. It's especially funny when a photo catches someone with an odd expression, like the one in the avatar.

Thanks for edifying the old guys, Weld!

I found the following definition on the internet.

Derp

A simple, undefined reply when an ignorant comment or action is made. Brought to life in the South Park series, when Mr. Derp made a guest apperance at South Park Elementary as the chef for a day, followed by hitting himself in the head with a hammer and exclaiming "Derp!"

Didn't know that. South Park was really funny in the beginning, and then the racism, bad language and religion-bashing began. No thanks.

The language is terrible on that show! The sexual themes are also repugnant. :( I don't watch South Park.

Doc, you don't need one. If it wasn't for the kids I wouldn't have a TV. I can get all the info I need on the computer and it can play movies.

You can watch South Park on the internet, Doc.

I do have a television, but I only watch videos on it. I haven't been subscribed to cable television for fifteen or twenty years. The last time I subscribed to cable TV, I canceled the subscription, and had them uninstall the cable within 48 hours.

I wasted an inordinate amount of time watching television when I was young. :( I'm trying recapture some of that time and employ it for more useful pursuits.
