Traded a 250 for a 737

So here at Franklin park il For business. Took a bunch of aerial photos from United 737.
Enjoy,

Ps first time I scored the row all to myself there was about 15 empty seats at the back where I was.

If I was home instead of freezing my butt off in MinneSNOWta, I'd take you out for some Gene and Judes.

0F and 10" of snow.

I'm good, thanks for the offer. I have a buddy from Austin here too so chances are we will go find some trouble. These things usually go all day so not much time to cram 2weeks into 3 days.

This place is really nice , I was pleasantly surprised for $77 a nite. Don't tell anonyonr do want to let it go to their heads

I borrowed your photo of the place from a couple months ago, and posted it to my Facebook to ask all my Chicago friends and relatives what was the deal about this place. I lived in Chicago until '79 when I was 10, and visited most every year into the mid-80's. No one took me there, nor had I been when I lived there. Yet, everyone was surprised I had never heard of it! Thinking back, I did grow up with Fluky's, Wolfy's, and Max's Italian beef place, as well as a couple small hot dog places on Western and/or Devon which were good from what I remember. So, I guess there was no need for here?! Either way, some people did offer to take me next time I go back to visit which means I will probably NEVER get there!

One friend said that if you want ketchup (yes, for the fries!! ) you have to buy it at McDonalds...

In the photo it looks like you taking up the row offended that person who needed to be in their safe space

It's a long story.

The Reader's Digest version is that I got tagged to be a 'Project Manager' to oversee some equipment we're having built. Our sorry 'Mechanical Engineer' was supposed to do it but he quit and our GM said "You're it. No tag backs". No pay increase, either.

She r actually asked to move to another vacant seat but I think the s stewardess (sp?) Denied her. I was going to tell her to jump across but she was really young and you never know how people take it, just let it go. We survived, great flight no weirdos either.

I was blessed with and empty seat from Boston to Dallas. Then a nice packed ride to Tulsa.

My favorite boots had to be retired. Holes worn through the soles.

One last cold hard fact

Got home last nite at about 130 in the morning. No drama, just a late full flight back to San Antonio. The pilot was a chatty one (which I like when they tell us stuff) . He said the flight was to be a bit longer because of the 157mph jet stream we would encounter and would be some turbulence as was normal with winter time flights. Also there was no temperature at ohare ( 0degrees) , and 55 degrees at San-Antonio. Quite a difference. My dried cracked booger bolder nose needed a relief from all the heated places I encountered. I have thawed out as my boss put it today with the nice 60 degree moist coastal bend air.

The polar vortex is said to make it back down here in South tx by sunday.

That's one of my favourite Ron White lines: My wife asked me what the temperature was outside; I looked at the thermometer and said, "There isn't one."
