RX3 lowering link.

Has anyone installed the lowering link on the RX3 and have issues with kickstand being to tall? Bike doesn't lean far enough.

Only when I put the CSC kickstand foot on it. Had to remove it was scared the bike was going to fall over

yes my experience was different. CSC lowering link w the CSC expanded foot on the kickstand. also CSC 19" front wheel and CSC Kenda Big Block tires front and rear.

off road, uneven terrain, found it much, much better for me to mount and dismount. surface is mostly soft and always uneven of course.

road terrain, still advantageous to me. i step onto peg and swing my leg over. then heft her upright. i like it more straight upright for the hefting part. i have very short legs though. its all relative i guess.

I put the lowering link on my RX3, which lowered the bike one inch.

But like GSC, I put on the 19" front wheel, and a different rear tire, which raised it back up 1 inch......

No problem with the kick stand.

its true; lower link, higher wheel, taller tires, and foot peg enlarger. back to square one ?

However, the larger front tire provides you many more tire options so it is a benefit if you don't mind losing some travel with the lowering link.

Put the lowering link on Mrs 2LZ RX3. It's basically stock with the stock front wheel.
No really issues. On flat ground, it's fine, though she does have to be a little more attentive to where she parks.

My 2014 had the lowering link installed at the factory. Yes Waldo38, the lean angle is definitely not enough to feel comfortable. I removed the sidestand and took it to a local metal shop. They cut about an inch out of the middle and re-welded the the top and foot back together. Cost me $25.

To remove the sidestand spring, use the pennies in the spring trick. You can find a video on YouTube.
