Another guy from Texas

Just found this forum this week while vacationing down in Mexico.
I don't own a bike yet, but am seriously considering buying one soon.
Motorcycles were my only means of transportation until I was in my late 20s.
I bought my first bike at 15, a Honda XL100. I believe it was a 79. Hard to remember that far back. That was about 1982. Then I had a Yamaha 550 Maxim, a Honda Interceptor, Honda Nighthawk and a Suzuki Katana.
Haven't been on a bike in 15-20 years now, but really have the itch to get another one. Just looking for something to ride around town (I live in a suburb outside of Dallas). I plan on looking at a couple of places around DFW when I get back at a 250cc Hawk and Storm. After reading a few posts on here, it sounds like a Hawk may be my choice. Any advice on either that y'all can offer up will be appreciated. Thanks.
